Local-E is a Seattle, Washington based company that is enabling the growth of solar generation by allowing neighbors to support neighbors to increase clean, renewable solar energy. Using Local-E, buyers can purchase Sun-Es from neighbors with solar. A Sun-E is equivalent to 100 kWh of verified solar generation.

- Increase clean, renewable energy solar energy, generated in the local community, by allowing community members without solar to support community members with solar installations
- Assist more and more home owners to afford to install solar photovoltaic (PV) panels by allowing supporters of renewable energy to financially support their neighbors’ panels
